Description

The US Geological Survey intends to negotiate and award a contract to Apprise Technologies, Inc, 4802 Oneota Street, Duluth, MN, 55807 for the purchase of a LIMNOS VB-25 Water Quality Monitoring Unit with remote profiling capabilities up to a depth of 25m with the following options: wind speed direction, variable depth 3-point anchoring system, memory upgrade, 3 solar panel upgrade system. Apprise Technologies is the only company that manufactures a water quality profiling device that operates by regulating hydrostatic pressure and that offers a Remote Programming Data Acquisition and Retrieval unit that acquires and stores data from a separate underwater water quality monitoring device at selected intervals in time at selected water depths. This requirement will utilize Department of Interior Electronic Commerce procedures. Solicitations, Purchase Orders and other actions relation to this procurement will be done electronically.
