Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, MD has a requirement to purchase a Elcomat 2000 Automatic Autocollimator System-2 P/N 229915SYS-2 with attachments manufactured by Moller-Wedel Optical GmbH of Wedel Germany for NAS North Island in San Diego, CA. The following apply: (1) ea. Elcomat 2000, 2-Axis Electronic Autocollimotor (includes computer cable and manuals P/N 229915; (1) ea. 2-Axis Adjustable Holder D65 P/N 223024; (1) ea. Alignment Aid for Elcomat 2000 P/N 219750; (1) ea. Calibration/Warranty Stickers (attach to each above unit calibration and warranty stickers indicating date calibrated, date due calibration, warranty/expiration date, and contract #). Delivery will be required 18 weeks after contract award. This procurement is 100% Set Aside for Small Business. The applicable NAICS code is 421460. The Government intends to award a sole-source firm-fixed price contract to Vermont Photonics 120 Birge Street, Brattleboro, VT. 05301 under the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304 (1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no others supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Vermont Photonics is the exclusive U.S. distributor for Moller-Wedel Optical GmbH. While this notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, interested parties may identify their interest and technical capability to respond to this requirement and may submit information which shall be considered.
