Description

<The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS) intends to negotiate solely with FOSS North America, Eden Praire, MN, to purchase a FOSS North America Rapidvisco Analyser RVA- 4 which consists of (1) Basic unit, which is computer controlled or stand-alone rotational viscometer, utilizing automatic test routines that include operating instructions, multi step shear and temperature profiles, and linked analysis functions. Windows program is capable of connecting up to four RVA units to one computer. (2) RS232 output port, (3) windows software, (4) accessories and training (5) one case (315/case) of sample cannisters and paddles. This equipment will be used to measure pasting properties with simultaneous shearing and heating. Companies with the demonstrated capabiliity of providing this equipment must submit a descriptive statement, including descriptive literature, specifically addressing the equipment's component's and availability. The statement and literature must be submitted to the Contracting Office Address within 15 days of publication of this notice. This is not a request for proposal. No solicitation is available.
