Description

This acquisition is for the procurement of 14 each CONTROL, REMOTE SWITCH, NSN: 6110-01-133-6506 IAW Drawing No. 13221E9111. Delivery is 180 days or earlier F.O.B. Destination to New Cumberland, PA 17070. INSPECTION AND ACCEPTANCE are at Destination. PACKAGING AND PACKING shall be IAW the contractor's best commercial packaging, ASTM D 3951-98. BAR CODE markings are required IAW ANSI/AIM-BC1, USSC 39 and MIL-STD 129. Ozone Depleting Chemicals (ODC) have been identified; refer to MIL-STD-100 and MIL-E-45782. THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION IAW FAR 13; THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSISTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION. Quotes are requested and a WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. CD ROM Drawings may be requested by contacting BOTH the contract specialist AND the contracting officer via electronic mail. The assigned Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is DAAB07-01-Q-D616. Solicitation requirements and incorporated provisions are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circulars. Offerors are requested to provide quotes for Contract Line Item No. 0001AA (6110-01-133-6506)CONTROL, REMOTE SWITCH and Contract Line Item No. 0002AA for 100% option. Award will be made on the lowest price, technically acceptable quote. Successful offeror will be requested to complete Representations & Certifications that would ordinarily be included in the solicitation. Offerors are advised the applicable clauses will be incorporated into the contract at time of award. Quotes are due no later than 2:00 pm on 15 June 2001.
