Description
17. This announcement was originally posted on 05/16/01 in FedBizOpps at www.eps.gov. The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued on 05/29/01 via FedBizzOpps at www.eps.gov. Hard copies of solicitation will NOT be issued. Specifications and drawings will be mailed to interested parties upon request. It is incumbent upon contractors to monitor the EPS system for the IFB and all subsequent amendments. NSN 6135-01-106-5542; Ice Buoy Battery, 320 AH, operating voltage; 12 volts DC nominal 320 ampere hours. Delivery shall be F.O.B. destination, 13 Lots to various Coast Guard destinations, a total quantity of 346 each. All to be made in accordance with U.S. Coast Guard Specification G-SEC-406E dated February 1999 with Change 1 dated February 2001 and applicable drawing number 120982, Rev. D which will be provided with the solicitation package. Award will be made on an ALL OR NONE basis and delivery shall be made NO LATER THAN 1 OCTOBER 2001 but NO SOONER than 1 September 2001. NOTE: QUALIFIED PRODUCT REQUIRED. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
