Description

The Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest has a requirement for approximately 3100 tons of aggregate. The estimated types of aggregate are: 2000 tons of #57 stone, 1000 tons of GAB, and 100 tons of rip-rap. The stone is to be hauled and tailgate spread along Forest Service Road #64, Three Forks Road, approximately 12 miles west of Blue Ridge, Georgia. Stone must come from Georgia DOT certified quarry. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation identified as RFQ 8-3-01-16 is issued as a Request for Quotations. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and no written solicitation will be issued. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: Line Item 01 2000 tons #57 stone, hauled and tailgate spread. Line Item 02 1000 tons GAB, hauled and tailgate spread. Line Item 03 100 tons rip-rap, hauled and tailgate spread. DELIVERY: Delivery is expected to begin approximately June 25, 2001 and no orders will be placed later than September 30, 2001. SUBMIT OFFERS: on company letterhead or form, no later than the close of business June 18, 2001, to Contracting Division, Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest, 1755 Cleveland Hwy., Gainesville, GA. 30501. Quotes may be FAXed to 770-297-3011. Provide quote by line item per ton with haul and spread included in price. Quotes must indicate quarry source and include a completed copy of clause 52.212-3 Representations and Certifications. Quotes will be evaluated on price and capability of the item to meet the agency need. An indefinite delivery contract will be awarded from this solicitation.
