Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). This is Request for Quotation No. 01SQ340381 which incorporates all provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular No. 97-25. This is unrestricted and all responsible sources will be considered by the Agency. The Northern American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333911 and the size standard is 500 Employees. The contract line items are as follows: ITEM 1: (1 ea) Sulzer Pump Model 3x4x8.75B MSE, 4 -Stage Horizontal, Multi-Stage (Opposed Impellers), and Axially Spilt, Single Volute to include: API A-8 Materials (316L Stainless Steel), Anti-friction bearings with oil rings lubrication (Trico Oiler), Flowserve PTO EU5E single cartridge type mechanical seals, plan 11 seal flush, 316L Stainless Steel tubing, gland cover non vapor tight, baseplate under pump and driver, base leveling screws, Kop-Flex series H Gear coupling with spacer, aluminum coupling guard, driver mounting, non-witnessed hyrostatic test, and non-witnessed performance test; ITEM 2: (1 ea) Motor, reliance 125 HP, 3600 RPM, 46/3/60, 44TS, TEFC. The Contractor shall supply all necessary supplies to make a working system. Delivery of pump and motor shall be delivered to the Yuma Area Office, 7301 Calle Agua Salada, Yuma, Arizona 85364. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. Provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items is applicable to this RFQ. Evaluation factors are as follows: Price and Past Performance. Price and Past Performance when evaluated are equally significant Offerors shall submit the following for past performance evaluation (1) list of three references of whom supplies have been provided. Include customer name, contact point and telephone numbers. Award will be made to the responsive responsible offer that provides the lowest technically acceptable offer. Offerors should include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with its offer. Clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition with no addenda. Clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Condition Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, applies to include paragraph 12, 13, 14, 15,16, 19, and 25.
