Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for Proposal and solicitation number is DATM05-01-R-0008. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAR) 97-25. Corrective and Preventive Maintenance Services of Ampex, Bell & Howell, Honeywell Manufactured Equipment and Honeywell Grouped Equipment are located at White Sands Missile Range, NM, McGregor Range, NM and Holloman Air Force Base, NM. This requirement consists of numerous items of equipment falling into one of the four categories identified above. The anticipated contract will be a Firm-Fixed Price contract with cost reimbursable elements for Field Change Orders. Offerors must provide satisfactory evidence that replacement parts will be readily available and can be acquired in a timely manner and that all documentation, repair manuals, schematics, hand tools, test and measuring equipment, clock diagrams, diagnostic routines, and any other aids, can be systematically acquired to provide contractual services. Offerors must provide pricing for all equipment listed. Award will be made on the basis of All or None. The contract will consist of a base period of 01 November 2001 through 31 October 2002, with four one-year options to extend. This requirement is unrestricted. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811219 and the size standard (manufacturing) is 500 employees.
