- Description
- The United States Section of the International Boundary and Water Commission (USIBWC) has a requirement for a firm-fixed price requirements contract for laboratory analytical services. The Scope of Services requires the Contractor to provide laboratory services for the monitoring and assessment of water quality of samples collected by the USIBWC on the mainstream of the Rio Grande, its tributaries, and other points in Texas. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, material, supplies, equipment, and personnel to perform laboratory services for the samples provided by the USIBWC to the Contractor or the Contractor's subcontractor. The Laboratory shall use analytical methods for the various parameters approved by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The Contractor shall be located in the State of Texas so that the samples collected can be submitted to the Contractor and processed within the specified sample holding times. The resultant contract will be for a basic period of one year with four (4) one year options to extend the term of the contract. The term of the contract will not exceed five (5) years. Tentative dates for issuing and receipt of proposals for RFP 01-31 are June 4, 2001 and July 5, 2001. Requests for receipt of RFP 00-31 must be submitted in writing by May 29, 2001 to the International Boundary and Water Commission, U.S. Section, Attn: Irma Gurrolla, 4171 North Mesa, C-310, El Paso, Texas 79902. No telephone requests will be accepted. Award of any resultant contract is subject to funds availability. This requirement is a 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable NAICS code for this procurement is 541380. The applicable small business size standard, including affiliates, is $5.0 million.
