Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-15. This solicitation is not a set aside. The associated Standard Industrial Classification Code is 2521 with a small business size standard of $18,000,000.00. The National Imagery and Mapping Agency intends to award, on a sole source basis, to Teltronics, Inc. an order for the following telephone IXP equipment to support the existing National Imagery and Mapping Agency Secure Voice Exchange Network (SVEN). Teltronics is the only known provider of these parts due to the proprietary nature of this equipment. Offeror must provide ALL items as partial offers will not be accepted. Delivery should be made to the NIMA Reston facility, 12310 Sunrise Valley Drive, Reston, VA 20191. Due to the urgent need for this equipment, delivery will be required within 10 days after receipt of order. The provisions of 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition with no addenda. Offerors are advised to include a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications- Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions- Commercial Items apply to this acquisition with no addenda. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items apply to this acquisition. CBD Note 2 applies to this Acquisition. Under the authority of USC 2304(c)(1) pursuant to FAR 6.302.1, only one responsible source and no other items/services will satisfy agency requirements. Interested parties shall submit offers with the following information: Offerors's 9 digit Contractor Establishment Code (CEC); Federal Tax Identification Number (TIN); Remit to address if different, and business size.
