Description

The work of this contract consists of the replacement of the existing fire suppression systems in six historic structures at the Hubbell Trading Post National Historic Site. These include dry pipe systems in the Hubbell Trading Post, Hubbell Home, Historic Barn, and Wareroom Extension, and wet pipe systems in the Manager's Residence and Visitor Center. Work includes replacement of all sprinkler risers, sprinkler piping and hangers, and sprinkler heads. Work also includes replacement of the roofing systems for the Hubbell Trading Post, Hubbell Home, and Wareroom Extension to allow access to the sprinkler piping in attic areas. An additive bid item is installation of a new wet pipe sprinkler system in the Guest Hogan. This project is located at Hubbell Trading Post National Historic Site, 1 mile west of Ganado, AZ, and 55 miles northwest of Gallup, NM.
