Description

Provide maintenance and repair of the Automated Blade Laser Paint Stripping System (ALPS system) in building 49, Corpus Christi Army Depot, Naval Air Station, Corpus Christi, Texas. The ALPS system is an integrated laser system consisting of a Carbon dioxide pulsed laser, a Hauser Robot and a program sequencing, or graphical user interface (GUI) computer system. A "Real Time" computer and a series of process logic controllers (PLCs) control the Hauser robot. Request for proposal to be issued on or about May 31, 2001.
