Description

The U. S. Department of Agriculture, Forest Service, Region 6, Olympic National Forest has a requirement for Planting/Thinning/Pruning Services. A Multiple Award Requirements Contract is contemplated. The project area includes various locations of the Olympic, Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie, and Gifford Pinchot National Forests. No more than 12 contracts will be awarded for a 5-year period. This is 100% set-aside for small business, with preference given to HubZone Certified Contractors. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 11531 with a size standard of $5M. This solicitation will be advertised as a Commercial Items Request for Proposal in accordance with FAR Part 12 procedures. The Service Contract Act will apply to task orders issued against the awarded contracts. Estimated issue date is June 4, 2001, with proposals due June 21, 2001.
