- Description
- This project is a Request for Quotes for tree thinning on the Bighorn National Forest, Powder River Ranger District, Johnson and Washakie counties, Wyoming. This project requires the furnishing of all tools, equipment, materials, supplies (except those designated as Government-Furnished), labor, supervision, workman's compensation, unemployment insurance, transportation, Migrant and Seasonal Workers protection Act registration number and incidentals to perform all work necessary to accomplish the tree thinning. Project includes approximately 390 acres over five (5) units to be spaced 12X12. Thinning units are on the southern half of the Bighorn National Forest in the general area of Hesse Creek and Caribou Creek. Hesse Creek is approximately 33 miles southwest of Buffalo, Wyoming, off FDR 31 with two access points off Highway 16. Caribou Creek is approximately 25 miles southwest of Buffalo, Wyoming, off Highway 16 via FDR 148. The proposed contract performance period is 62 calendar days. The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small businesses. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered.
