Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-25. This solicitation is a 100% small business set-aside (SBSA); the associated NAICS code is 332995; the number of employees are 500 or less. The Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program doesn't apply. CLIN0001Cylinder Test Back Material, Shear Tool P/N 12L14 or equal 160 each Material is to be destroyed for similar launch of artillery projectile. The delivery date will be 6 weeks after award; F.O.B. Destination. The place of delivery will be Commander TACOM-ARDEC, AMSTA-AR-WEE-D, Bldg. 3024, ATTN: Brian Travers, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806. Inspection and acceptance will take place at Bldg. 3024. The FAR provision, 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors Commercial is applicable. The Government will award a purchase order resulting from this synopsis to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and whose offer is the most advantageous to the Government price and other factors considered. Offerors proposing merchandise other than the Shear Tool model must also submit descriptive literature required by FAR clause 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal. A completed copy of FAR provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items shall be submitted with your offer. The FAR clause 52.212.4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. In addition, FAR clause 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal also applies. The FAR clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. Additionally, FAR 52.232-33 Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer Central Contractor Registration (U.S.C. 3332) applies. Commerce Business Daily -- See Note 1 applies.
