Description

The US Dept of Veterans Affairs, Great Lakes Acquisition Center, is planning to negotiate a sole source contract with Cone Instruments for a Combison 301 Untrasound Unit for the Hines IL VA Hospital. This is considered to be a sole source because it is the only product currently available on the market that is able to provide good transrectal imaging of the prostate, allowing systematic biopsies. Other sources that believe they can meet VA needs must furnish product information and references to this office by no later than 4:30 PM on May 25, 2001.
