Description

Naval Air Warfare Center -- Weapons Division (NAWCWD), Point Mugu, California, intends to issue a solicitation (RFQ) and award a contract on a sole source basis to Emhiser Research, Inc., of Verdi, Nevada. Requirement is for 20 each, Telemetry Transmitters, Emhiser Model number ETTC-06D1A202-P002. The weight and dimensions of the telemetry transmitter are known and have been entered into the database, which determines the center of gravity of the BQM-74E target drone. There is a specified location for this device; no other sources have been found that can match the form, fit, and function, and reliability of this telemetry transmitter. This ad is not a request for bids. A contract will be awarded on a sole source basis to Emhiser Research, Inc. FOB Destination pricing is requested. Closing date of the Request for Quotation will be on or before 06/15/01. All responsible sources may submit a bid which if received in a timely manner will be considered by the agency. Requests for a copy of the RFQ must be made in writing.
