Description

Work will include constructing a two pad airtanker base at the Helena Regional Airport. The airtanker base will include an operations building, a warehouse, two retardant loading pads, taxilanes and the entire infrastructure needed to support an airtanker operation. This infrastructure work will include electrical, water and sewer, and natural gas utility work, along with parking lots, sidewalks, access roads and landscaping. Work to begin on or about September 10, 2001. Contract time 280 Days. Located 2 miles east of Helena, Lewis & Clark County, Montana. The site is immediately west of the Montana National Guard's Army Aviation Support Facility. Package available on or about July 6, 2001. Price range between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.
