- Description
- Proposals are requested to deliver and continuously update a training course that stresses the importance of teamwork as a major factor in successful paratransit scheduling and dispatching. The course details core competencies for scheduling and dispatching, as well as exploring alternative approaches to scheduling and dispatching. It also explains how reservations, scheduling, and dispatching strategies complement (and sometimes conflict with) each other. The course pays special attention to how the U.S. DOT regulatory provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) affect reservations, scheduling, and dispatching. This two-(2) day course will be offered to paratransit operations managers, supervisors, schedulers, dispatchers, and trainers. The contract will require a list of materials, course outline, instructor's guide, participant manual, presentation of a pilot session and delivery of the course up to thirty (30) times during the three-(3) year base contract period. NTI will require proposers to have had experience with the subject matter as well as experience in delivering and updating training programs. To obtain a copy of the complete RFP, send a written request on organization letterhead to the University Procurement & Contracting address above. Fax or e-mail requests will be accepted; telephone requests are unacceptable. RFPs will not be faxed. Requests received by Tuesday June 12, 2001 will be honored. RFPs will be mailed shortly thereafter. Proposers submitting and signing the proposal documents must be the original requesters of the proposal package. Rutgers University is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to provide opportunities to small businesses, minority-owned businesses and/or female-owned businesses. These businesses are encouraged to submit proposals.
