Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakhurst, N.J. intends to procure services to design and create the Weapon Retrieval Decision Support System (WRDSS) system. This is a key subsystem in the NAWMS project which will be based on Intelligent Agent technology to provide cognitive level automated decision support for the Ordnance Handling Officer (OHO) to help reduce work load throughout the weapons department and increase throughput of weapons to aircraft on aboard the CV. The Government intends to negotiate with Probus Test Systems of Howell, N.J. for these services as a result of their specialized experience. This will be issued as a modification to their contract N68335-00-C-0398 which was awarded for related research and developmental type services. See Note 22.
