This requirement will be available for downloading from our website beginning approximately 29 May 2001. Prior to this date you will not be able to access this solicitation. The NAVSEA Indian Head Division, intends to issue a solicitation to obtain Engineering and Technical Support Services through award of a CPFF/IDIQ/LOE Term type contract under which task orders will be issued. The services shall support NAVSEA Indian Head, its tenant activities, DOD, and other federal agencies in support of NAVSEA Indian Head's mission to ensure operational readiness in the energetics product discipline and to assist NAVSEA Indian Head in maintaining capability to effectively execute program thrusts involving ordnance energetic materials, and related hardware and software. These efforts will augment Indian Head's capability in disciplines such as Scientific Analysis, Weapons Engineering, Systems Engineering, Affordability and Cost Analysis, Modeling and Simulation, Computer Program Development/Modification, Data Management, Test and Evaluation, Documentation and General Support. This requirement is a Full and Open Competitive Procurement with an evaluation preference of 10% for HUBZONE contractors. The NAICS Code is 541330 , size standard of $20M and the FSC code is R425 . The contract's intended period of performance is five years with a base period of one year and four (4) one year options. This requirement will be awarded as a Best Value based on a tradeoff of price and other factors as setforth in the solicitation.
