Description

The National Ocean Service (NOS) has a requirement for the Operation, Maintenance, Repair and Management of the Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP) Network within the Physical Oceanographic Real-Time System (PORTS) in Galveston Bay, Texas. Contractor shall operate, maintain and repair two current measurement systems; operate, maintain and repair the data telemetry systems that are associated with the ADCP surface electronics. NOS shall procure and make available to the Contractor a complete set of spare components including: a current measurement system with bottom platform, cable, Benthos transponder, surface electronics with line-of-sight radio, antenna and power supply, PORTS(TM) interface card, solar panels, regulator and batteries. In addition, NOS will provide all necessary specialized test equipment and software as required to assure reliable operations of the network. Period of performance is 1 year with four option years. Standard Classification code is 8999. All responsible sources may submit an offer to the RFP which shall be considered by the agency.
