Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13. The Government intends to award, on a Sole Source basis, an order to Cadence Design Systems. Item 0001, Virtuoso Schematic Composer, part number 34500, quantity 1 each. Item 0002, Cadence Analog Design Environment, part number 34510, quantity 1 each. Item 0003, Spectre Circuit Simulator, part number 32500, quantity 1 each. Item 0004, Spectre RF Simulator Option, part number 32550, quantity 1 each. Item 0005, One year software maintenance for Virtuoso Schematic Composer, quantity 1 each. Item 0006, One year software maintenance for Cadence Analog Design Environment, quantity 1 each. Item 0007, One year software maintenance for Spectre Circuit Simulator, quantity 1 each. Item 0008, One year software maintenance for Spectre RF Option, quantity 1 each. No RFQ will be prepared or made available for distribution. While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award will be made based on technically acceptable low bids. "Numbered Notes 1 and 22 applies, however, all offers received within 15 days (in lieu of 45 days) after date of publication of original synopsis will be considered by the Government".
