Description

NASA/JSC plans to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Interleaf Software License Renewal. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). NASA/JSC intends to purchase software renewal from Broad Vision, Inc. The software currently being requested is currently in use by the International Space Station Analysis and Integration Team Contract (ISAC). This procurement continues the maintenance and vendor support currently being supplied by the vendor. The following items are being requested: 1. QuickSilver Subscription, Model No. XX-QSLVR25U-YSC, Qty 40 2. SR Interleaf Sotware License, Model No. SR-15-ALL-YSC, Qty 30 3. SR Interleaf Software License, Model No. SR-15-YSC, Qty 10 4. SR Worldpress Software, Model No. SR-SFW-WPRESS-YSC, Qty 2 Term of Agreement: 5/1/01 -- 3/31/02 The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local time on May 25, 2001. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. An Ombudsman has been appointed.
