Description

This request is a readvertisement of Submittion No. 50K2U9, April 25, 2001, that was cancelled on May 3, 2001, for clarification of specifications which were not previously available. This is a combined snyopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information provided in this notice. This Request for Quotes provisions and FAR clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-24. The business size standard classification code is 5039. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY REQUEST PACKAGE FROM WHICH QUOTES SHOULD BE SUBMITTED. A WRITTEN SOLICITATION PACKAGE WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This request is issued in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5. This acquisition is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. KENNEL PANELS ARE SADDLE CLAMPED TOGETHER TO CONSTRUCT FULLY ENCLOSED CAGES WITH THE 10' X 10' PANELS ACTING AS ROOFS. ALL CORNERS SHALL BE FLUSH, WITH THE NO LEG EXTENSIONS. 1 1/4" WIRE MESH FABRIC USED ON ALL PANELS. Line Item No. 1. 6' x 10' kennel panels: 209 panels, with 1 5/8" 16 ga. frames with 11 ga. 1 1/4" wire mesh fabric; Line Item No. 2 10' x 10' kennel panels: 95 panels with 1 5/8" 16 ga. frames with 11 ga. 1 1/4" mesh fabric; Line Item No. 3 6' x 10' kennel panels with 3' gates, 38 panels with 1 5/8" 16 ga. frames with 11 ga. 1 1/4" wire mesh fabric with 3' wide gate-Gates built with close tolerances to their frames; Line Item No. 4 Saddle Clamps: 646 pairs of 1 5/8" x 1 5/8" clamps with 3" bolts; Line Item No. 5 Hardware Cloth: 20 rolls of 2' wide, 10 rolls os 3'wide. All materials to be delivered FOB destination to Channel Islands National Park, 1901 Spinnaker Drive, Ventura, CA 93001 by July 15, 2001. The following FAR provisions and clauses are hereby incorporated and made a part of this request: 52.212.1 Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, 52.121.2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items. The government will use the following factors to evaluate quotes, with each being of equal importance: Past performance and price. Contractors should SUBMIT QUOTES AND PAST PERFORMANCE REFERENCES with their quote. The government reserves the right to make award of the initial quote received with discussions. The government will award a contract resulting from this announcement to the responsible offeror whose quote conforms to this RFQ which is considered to be the best value to the government. Interested parties wishing to respond to this announcement, must provide this office with the following information: A PRICE QUOTE FOR EACH LINE ITEM, THE RFQ NUMBER, FOB DELIVERY AND DELIVERY TIME, PROMPT PAYMENT TERMS, PAST PERFORMANCE REFERENCES OF SIMILAIR TYPE OF PROCUREMENT. ALL QUOTES MUST BE SIGNED. QUOTES SHALL BE SUBMITTED ON COMPANY LETTERHEAD OR STANDARD COMPANY QUOTATION FORMS.
