Description

The Contractor shall provide security guard services at the GSA Central Office Building, 18th & F Streets, NW, Washington, DC. This includes furnishing all management, supervision, manpower, training, equipment, supplies, licenses, permits, certificates, insurance, pre-employment screenings, reports, and files. The SBA has accepted this requirement into the 8(a) program so this acquisition is being offered for competition among eligible 8 (a) firms only. Performance is expected to begin on or about October 1, 2001 and continue through September 30, 2002. The Government will have the option to extend the term of the contract for four consecutive years. The invitation for bids will be issued on or about June 27, 2001. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. GSA is issuing this solicitation only electronically.
