Description

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to issue an order on a sole source basis with Mr. Ed Dinkle, 11600 New Bond Street, Fredericksburg, VA 22408, a former government employee. The support to be provided will assist NTIA in the successful conversion of historical records to CD-ROM and inputted into the contracted search engine. This action is being done under Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Services to be performed for a one year period include revisions to the NTIA Manual and Supplements, development of table of transmitting/receiving earth station coordination information, and development of an electronic table of all footnotes contained the in the U.S. Allocation Footnote History File. This requirement is in part, an extension of efforts performed under previous Purchase Order No. 43SBNB067025. FOB Destination NTIA, Washington, DC. It would not be possible for another source to achieve the necessary level of understanding in the time required for the completion of the work: April 2002. This is not a request for competitive quotes, and no solicitation document will be issued. Interested parties should submit a capability statement, to include evidence of their capability to respond to the requirement, no later than the response date above. The anticipated award date of the order is on or around May 21, 2001.
