- This is Modification No. 1 to the combined CBD/RFP solicitation ASL-01-302 previously posted on FedBizOpps on May 3, 2001. NOTE; THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY MODIFICATION TO THE SOLICITATION. PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN MODIFICATION TO THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The purpose of this modification is to provide answers to questions received. QUESTION NO. 1: If the entire current contract is not available, what about the current price list or the justification for award? ANSWER NO. 1: The current contract is a bridge contract NRC entered into with Neal R. Gross & Co., Inc. (NRC-21-01-305). The prior competed contract was with Ann Riley & Associates, Ltd. (NRC-21-98-300). Both contracts, and modifications thereto, can be viewed at NRC's Public Document Room (PDR) located on the first floor of NRC's One White Flint Building at 11555 Rockville Pike, Rockville, MD. The PDR's Reading Room is open from 7:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. (EST). Telephone calls are accepted at 301/415-4737 or 1/800-397-4209 between 8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. (EST). It is a requirement that all request for information regarding the award of a contract be requested through a FOIA request. The contracting office is not authorized to provide such information directly to a requester. QUESTION NO. 2: Is a 7,3,1, work day referring to the "turn around" time for all service requested? ANSWER NO. 2: Yes, the 7,3,1, work day are referring to the turn around time in which an ordered transcript is due. QUESTION NO. 3: If so, are you referring only to weekdays (Mon-Fri) no holiday or weekends, correct? ANSWER NO. 3: Correct, only weekdays (Mon-Fri) not holidays or weekends. QUESTION NO. 4: What is the previous awardee's prices? ANSWER NO. 4: See Answer No. 1. QUESTION NO. 5: Concerning the format for prices, all expenses are included in the price per page? ANSWER NO. 5: Correct, all expenses are included in the price per page. QUESTION NO. 6: What is the cutoff time on May 21st for receiving the bid package? ANSWER NO. 6: As stated in the original CBD/RFP solicitation dated May 3, 2001, proposal packages are due by 3:00 p.m. (EST). QUESTION NO. 7: Where are the anticipated locations of depositions/recording and estimated number of frequency of deposition/recordings? ANSWER NO. 7: As stated in the original CBD/RFP solicitation dated May 3, 2001, the location of the proceedings will be throughout the United States including Alaska and Hawaii, and Puerto Rico, Guam, any protectorate and the countries of Canada and Mexico.
