Description

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) plans to negotiate a Purchase Order with Fugro-BRE, Inc. to inspect drainage systems by using a video inspection system. The purpose of this project is to ensure that the systems that are installed are working as designed. The video inspection system has the capability of viewing the inside of the drainages and would be the most effective and efficient way to determine if the drainage systems are properly functioning. Because Fugro-BRE, Inc. developed and conducted the demonstration project on video drainage inspection and they possess a unique knowledge of the test sites they are the only known source available to complete this project. This is a Simplified Acquisition and the anticipated award date is on or about May 25, 2001.
