Description

The project consists of regrading the northern portion of the heap leach facility, placing additional topsoil over the entire heap leach facility, and revegetation of the heap leach, pond, drainfield, facility and land application areas. A fence will be installed around the pond, drainfield and facility areas and tied into the existing fence. To access the project site, take US Highway 50 west from Ely, NV or east from Eureka for approx. 33 miles to the Green Springs/Belmont Road turnoff. Take this road approx. 7 miles to a fork, go right approx. 5 miles along the west side of the White Pine Range to the project site. Est. start date is 8/01/01 with 75 calendar days for completion. Est. price range is between $250,000 and $500,000. This proposed procurement is under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, which is not a small business set aside.
