Description

The proposed acquisition listed herein is a 100% small business set-aside. The Department of Health and Human Services/PSC/DAM/ADP Acquisitions Branch has a requirement to provide support for the operations of the National Reporting Program (NRP) of the Center for Mental Health Services, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. The NRP conducts nationwide organizational inventories and sample client surveys and provides descriptive information on the mental health service delivery system in the United States. Support is required in the areas of a) Computer Analyses for use in Data Reporting and Dissemination; b) Database Management Support; and c) Statistical Application and Methodology. Qualified sources must demonstrate: 1) availability of qualified staff with proficiency in database management and complex statistical applications using large-scale data bases, including skills in SAS, in both the personal computer and mainframe environments; 2) a practical, feasible, cost-efficient approach, and the necessary quality control procedures and security requirements; 3) availability of adequate equipment, facilities and software; and 4) corporate experience in managing projects of similar size, scope and content. The anticipated period of performance is twelve (12) months from the effective date of the contract with four (4) twelve (12) month option periods. The RFP will be available approximately fifteen (15) days from the date of issuance. The closing date will be approximately thirty (30) days after the issuance.
