Description

Under contract number ED-00-CO-0120, the U.S. Department of Education is contemplating a one and one-half year extension (March 30, 2001 _ September 30, 2007) to the Longitudianl Evaluation of the Effectiveness of School Interventions study. The extension is needed because (1) the study will begin with a kindergarten cohort instead of a first grade cohort and follow this cohort through the 3rd grade; and (2) the data collection will begin in fall 2002 rather than 2001. The extension is needed to complete the last year of data collection and to conduct the analysis and report writing.
