Description

The Virginia Contracting Activity on behalf of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) intends to issue a solicitation to provide on-site research studies dealing with current trends of Islamist developments in Indonesia. The solicitation will be set-aside for small business participation only and research must be completed in country. The planned solicitation release date is 25 May 2001. The project will examine several issues including descriptions of the main centers of thought and leading personalities, an analysis of their religious and social ties abroad, along with how the dynamics of new political leadership has changed Islam in Indonesia. Interested parties seeking to do business with the Department of Defense must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry prior to receiving a contract award.
