Description

Background "A researcher to help AFIT support the High Performance Computing (HPC) Initiative, including the Signal/Image Processing (SIP) Computational Technology Areas (CTA). CIP-CTA covers the extraction of useful information from sensor outputs in real time. Results shall be the implementation and statistical evaluation of performance of promising signal and image processing (SIP) algorithms. Period of Performance approximately 1 Jun 2001 -- 30 Mar 2002 NAICS Code 61171 Size Standard $3.5M. 100% set aside for small business. The Request for Quote (RFQ)and Statement of Work will be posted on the ASC PreAward Information Exchange System (PIXS) at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio http://www.pixs.wpafb.af.mil. The RFQ will be issued on or about 17 May 2001 on PIXS (see above address). NO HARD COPIES WILL BE SENT. All responsible small business sources may submit a quote that shall be considered. An Ombudsman has been established for this acquisition.
