Description

The Spacecraft Engineering Department of the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) has a requirement for two (2) Inertial Measurement Units for integration into a space vehicle. The required inertial measurement units (i) shall perform the functions of inertial angular rate measurement (or incremental angular measurement) and inertial acceleration (or incremental velocity measurement) in three mutually orthogonal axes; (ii) shall provide interfaces to the Full-sky Astrometric Mapping Explorer spacecraft controller; and (iii) shall be used to determine vehicle attitude between star sensor updates. Detailed specifications will be included in the solicitation file. NRL uses Electronic Commerce (EC) to issue RFPs and amendments to RFPs. This solicitation and any amendments to it will be available via the Internet approximately fifteen (15) days after publication of this announcement at the URL address provided below.
