Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) intends to extend Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00421-98G-1010 with Veridian ERIM International (ERIM) for a period of twelve (12) months to July 22, 2002. The BOA provides engineering services for flight test support, maintenance support, data processing and analysis, and upgrade to the P-3 UWB/SAR system. ERIM is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of a unique radar system, and the only firm that possesses the necessary knowledge, experience, and technical data required to perform this effort within the limited time constraints of the Navy. Configuration consists of L-, C-, X-, and UHF transmitter systems, the clutter lock unit, the system control computer, and the Real Time Processing Unit. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is neither a request for proposals nor a solicitation of offers. A determination not to compete this proposed extension based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
