Description

Systems Engineering Services to be supplied on a sole source basis by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Gulfstream Aerospace Incorporated (GAI), in support of all aircraft configurations of the Navy/Marine C-20D/G and C-37 aircraft and their ancillary equipment. This proposed contract will provide a capability for the contractor to respond to technical inquiries from the Navy that are over and above normal company provided "customer support" services. Inquiries for which answers are sought under this contract may or may not require extensive analyses or test. The scope of this requirement includes:Products and/or analyses necessary to safely sustain and operate the Department of the Navy's fleet of aircraft;Technical information and/or processes necessary to achieve the aircraft's programmed service life and aircraft readiness rates;Aircraft modification engineering and associated FAA certifications efforts;Investigation and analysis of safety related issues, incidents or accidents;Recommendations for improving operational readiness and/or reducing operating and maintenance costs;and Rapid access to customer support services and OEM publication services.
