- Description
- The following are questions and answers for Request for Quotation (RFQ) NMA100-01-Q-0021: Question: How many computer inputs are in this system currently, and do they have interfaces (you did not list any in your GFE equipment list)? Answer: The scan converter (down converter) is the only current Computer Interface. Question: Do you have a line drawing that outlines how you intend the system to function, and can you furnish that prior to the bid closing? Answer: (a) The "In-Room" choices will assign video source selection (Camera's, Elmo, and VCR) to the display devices (i.e. Projectors). The TV's will be DA'd to the projection and will not be routable. The TVs will provide caption decoding when required and enhanced viewing. In room audio (amplifier and speakers) will be available for "Canned presentations". (b) The "VTC" Choice will assign video/audio source selection to the display devices and codec. The TV's will be DA'd to the projectors and used to display distant video and send video/still graphics. All audio sources will be routed to the codec for echo cancellation control. The VTC output audio system is complete and will not interface with the in-room amplifier/speaker system. Due to time constraints, no further questions will be accepted regarding this solicitation.
