SOLICITATION NO. N68335-01-R-0297 WILL NOT BE MAILED TO CONTRACTORS. The solicitation will appear on the Navair Homepage www.navair.navy.mil Note 1 -- 100% SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS. NAICS Code 333415. This procurement is for an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity of heavy-duty skid-mounted water chillers. Utilizing R-22 or a non-ozone depleting refrigerant that is EPA approved and easily obtainable, the electrically powered and air cooled chiller will provide cooling for the US Navy model A/F27T-10 hydraulic component test stand installed in mobile maintenance facilities (208V powered chiller required) or land maintenance facilities (460V power chiller required). From outdoors of the trailer interior, on demand, the chiller shall supply chilled water at 60-80 degrees Fahrenheit at a nominal of 24 tons of cooling. Maximum exterior dimensions of the chiller are to be 46" width x 136" length x 74" high. This requirement shall be fulfilled by supplying "commercial items" as defined in Section 2.101 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations. This procurement provides provisions for ordering chillers in calendar years 2001 through 2004, and submission of design and logistics data. This contract will be firm fixed price with provisions for ordering up to 60 units. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government technical, past experience, past performance and price considered.
