Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to enter into negotiation for a Sole Source purchase order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures with with the University of Florida, Dept of Pathology, P. O. Box 100275, University of Florida College of Medicine, 1600 SW Archer Road, Gainesville, Fl, 32610 for the following products: 1. Microarray Standard for GAD Auto Antibody, 100 Ea 2. Microarray Standard for IA2 Auto Antibody 100 Ea, 3. Microarray Standard for Insulin Abtibody 100 Ea. SPECIFICATIONS FOR STANDARDS: 1) Slide-based Microarrays ontaining at least 5000 microdots of protein per slide. 2) Demonstration of reproducible autoantibody titration curves from each microarray. 3) Analytical sensitivity and specificity must Be Comparableto that of currently-available assays using radiolabeled antigens,. 4) Analytical system must aalow automated sample application and analysis, 5) Cost of materials for analysis must be below $3 per sample per autoantibody. 6) Ffluorescence calibration must be consistent with NCCLS proposed guidelines for fluorescence intensity measurements.
