Description

This solicitation is 100% Small Business Set-aside as a competitive 8(a). The NAICS code is 561730. The size standard is $5.0 Million. The intention of this solicitation is to obtain Grounds Maintenance, Right of Way Clearing and Storm Drain Maintenance at the Marine Corps Base, Various Locations, Quantico, Virginia by means combination Firm Fixed Price and Indefinite Quantity contract. The Contractor shall provide all labor, supplies, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation and management necessary to provide lawn care which includes application of limestone, mulch, seed, and fertilizer, grass cutting, edging sidewalks and roadways, and trimming trees and bushes; maintenance of storm drainage systems; Right of Way Clearing and associated indefinite quantity requirements aboard the Marine Corps Base at Quantico, Virginia. Cleaning of drainage system piping is not included in this contract. All work shall be performed in accordance with the requirements specified herein and all applicable federal, state and local laws, regulations, permits, codes and directives. The estimated availability of the solicitation will be 15 May 2001. Bids are due by 1:30pm on 14 June 2001. The bid opening will be on 14 June 2001 at 2:00pm, Bldg 2004, 2nd floor conference room, Marine Corps Base, Quantico, VA.
