Description

Presolicitation Notice: Sealed bids from all business concerns will be accepted for Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge and Mackay Island National Wildlife Refuge Project FWS-ALL 10(1), in Dare and Currituck Counties, North Carolina. The project consists of the replacement of Milltail Creek Bridge and Navy Shell Road Bridge at Alligator River NWR and the realignment of the Entrance Road at Mackay Island NWR. The work will include bridge removal, embankment construction, structure excavation, placement of riprap, aggregate base, precast concrete piles, structural concrete for approach slabs, precast concrete structural members, installation of steel bridge railing, guardrail, concrete culverts and headwalls, and miscellaneous work. The project is expected to fall within the price range of $500,000 to $1,000,000. Bid documents are scheduled to be issued in the first week of August. Bids will be due 30 days after the issue date.
