- Description
- Procurement of the following: Overhaul of NSN 8120-01-HS1-3656, P/N 2911154-3 and overhaul and upgrade of NSN 8120-01-HS1-4572, P/N 2911154-2, APS137 Freon Cylinders on an _as-required_ basis. One contract, consisting of a one-year base period with three (3) option periods, renewable annually will be awarded. The Coast Guard does not own, nor can it provide drawings or specifications for these items and intends to negotiate and award to the Original Equipment Manufacturer, TAVCO, Inc., 20500 Prairie Street, Chatsworth, CA 91311-6091. Interested parties able to fulfill this requirement must possess a current FAA or OEM certification; a Department of Defense certification may be submitted for review and approval by the Contracting Officer on a case by case basis. Interested parties must have access to all current maintenance overhaul manuals and performance/test/acceptance criteria to ensure equipment is overhauled and upgraded in accordance with the Original Equipment Manufacturer_s specifications and procedures and shall submit a proposal indicating their ability to perform this overhaul. The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receiveable for transportation related contracts.
