Description

Negotiations will be conducted with Perkin Elmer Instruments for a Gas Chromatograph unit with Auto Sampler ECD and FID as Detectors, Auto System XL 120v. The requirement is for a gas chromotograph, installation kit, detector/adapter, receiver assembly, autosampled starter kit, install autosystem, trap-filter dryer and capillary injector starter kit. Perkin Elmer GC units are necessary in order to ensure that test results obtained from the Morgantown Laboratory GC's (which currently use the Perkin Elmer GC) are consistent with the results obtained with the Pittsburgh Laboratory. Therefore, the same GC's are needed in order to ensure the integrity of the results. The Morgantown WV program has 2 Perkin Elmer PE, gas chromatography units, GC's which are operated via a new PE TotalChrom workstation. The project officer located in Pittsburgh, PA will develop test methods then conducting analysis using the GC system in support of the project. Connecting the workstations would require GC's systems for both locations from the same source. This notice is for informational purposes only. Request for quotations are not available.
