This announcement constitutes only the solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. OFFERORS MUST INCLUDE WITH THEIR PROPOSALS A COMPLETED COPY OF THE PROVISION AT 52.212-3, OFFEROR REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS-COMMERCIAL ITEMS. This solicitation (F26600-01-Q-A042) is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-23 and the Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. This solicitation is unrestricted. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 234110, average annual returns $27.5 million. The item description is as follows: Supply and deliver 5,235 tons (approx) of Asphalt: 75 Blow Mix 12_ (Must meet Colorado DOT Heavy Traffic Mix) to Butts Field, Ft Carson Colorado with an estimated start date for deliveries, of approximately 1000 tons a day, of 11 Jul 01. Price quotes shall be submitted by 2:00 p.m. (Pacific), 22 May 01 to 99th Contracting Squadron, 5865 Swaab Blvd. Nellis AFB, NV 89191, attention SSgt Michael Bumpus.
