Description

The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) is = requesting proposals from a Designer-Builder the Largo Extension of the = Blue Line Metrorail from the existing Addison Road Station to Largo = Town Center in Price Georges' County Maryland. The project consist of = two new transit stations and a 2,200 space parking structure. The work = includes the completion of preliminary design efforts conducted by = WMATA, and the development of Final Designs, Final Design Drawings and = Specifications, and shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, = project management, etc. required for construction of the project. The = contract will be awarded utilizing a Two-Phase Design-Build Selection = procedure. Based on evaluation of Phase-One proposals the most highly = rated offerors will be selected to submit technical and price proposals = in Phase-Two. Estimated cost is $70 -- 85 M.
