SOURCES SOUGHT TO PROVIDE AIRCRAFT LIFT SERVICES FOR MILITARY PARACHUTING PROFICENCY.******************************************* The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials and facilities required to perform the following services: (1) Facility will be within one-hour vehicle travel time of Nellis AFB, Nevada. (2) Provide freefall jumps from FAA qualified aircraft between 3,500 AGL and 10,000 AGL utilizing a surveyed or contracted drop zone and designated airspace in accordance with FAA. (3) Provide, as a minimum, a Cessna 182 (or similar) aircraft for three jumpers, more than one pass may be required. (4) Provide a drop zone accessible to the contractor_s facility available Monday-Friday from 0800-1800. (5) The pilot must be licensed in accordance with FAA regulations. The Government will provide: (1) 48 hours advance notice for scheduling of jump operations to ensure availability of aircraft, pilots, drop zone access, and de-confliction with drop zone operations. (2) Transportation between Nellis AFB and the drop zone using Government owned vehicles. (3) Emergency vehicle, driver, and access to Emergency Medical Services. (4) Radios for ground to air communication. (5) Parachutes and all jump related equipment. The 99th Contracting Squadron is currently looking for sources whom can provide pricing and delivery information for this requirement to determine if this acquisition can be set-aside for small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System is 481111. The Small Business Administration has classified small businesses as those businesses that have 1,500 employees or less. The acquisition will be solicitated in accordance with (IAW) FAR Part 12 _ Acquisition of Commercial Items.
