Description
This is Modification 11 to the synopsis for the Center Operations Support Services Contract, which is the follow-on contract to the current Base Operations Support Services Contract, Solicitation No. 9-BJ32-T63-0-24P. The last modification was released on April 12, 2001. You are notified that the following changes are made: THE PREPROPOSAL CONFERENCE WILL NOW BE HELD MAY 14-MAY 15, 2001. May 14th -- Noon -- 8 p.m. Industry Briefing (Noon -- 4 p.m.) Break for Dinner (4 p.m. -- 5 p.m.) No food provided Tour A (5 p.m. -- 6:30 p.m., and 6:30 p.m. -- 8 p.m.) Tour B (5 p.m. -- 6:30 p.m., and 6:30 p.m. -- 8 p.m.) May 15th 8 a.m. -- 4:30 p.m. Break for Lunch (Noon -- 1 p.m.) No food provided Tour C (8 a.m. -- 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. -- 4 p.m.) Tour D (8 a.m. -- 9:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. -- 4:30 p.m.) Tour E (10 a.m. -- Noon and 1 p.m. -- 3 p.m.) Tour F (8 a.m. -- 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. -- 3 p.m.) The Industry Briefing will be held at the Johnson Space Center's Gilruth Center. Tour A includes the craft shops, tool rooms, bench stock, laydown areas, selected installation-provided property, offices. etc. This tour will begin at Building 330 unless otherwise announceed during the industry brief. Tour B includes logistics, critical spares, Government stock, temporary storage, selected installaton-provided property, etc. This tour will begin at Building 419 unless otherwise announced during the industry brief. Tour C includes a windshield tour of the Johnson Space Center and Ellington Field with a stop at the Sonny Carter Training Facility for a brief walking tour. Meet in Building 44 parking lot to participate in this tour. Tour D is an environmental tour. Meet in the Building 44 parking lot to participate in this tour. Tour E is a tour of the central plant, Buildings 24 and 48. Meet in the Building 44 parking lot to participate in this tour. Tour F is a tour of selected user equipment. Meet in the Building 44 parking lot to participate in this tour. Attendees are requested to e-mail the Contracting Officer, Charles Bell, to advise NASA of how many personnel plan to attend the briefing and each tour. Each firm is permitted a maximum of 3 personnel for the tours. If possible, identify which offering of each tour participants plan to attend. This information will be used to assist the Government in arranging adequate transportation for the tours. All other aspects of this synopsis as modified on April 12, 2001, remain unchanged.
