Description

The Bureau of Land Management(BLM), Nevada State Office intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Mr. Bruce Maxwell to provide service required to update the Geographic Coordinate Data Base (GCDB)located within the Branch of Geographic Service, Cadastral Survey Section. This data base, which contains survey information and GPS positions to accurately portray the Public Land Survey System in support of parcel based recording, analysis and display of geographic information, requires updating and conversion to the GIS format used by BLM. The anticipated period of performance is for one (1) year with a start date of May 14, 2001. This procurement will be awarded as a simplified acquisition in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5. See Note 22.
