Description

The Air Force Research Laboratory, Air Vehicles Directorate (AFRL/VA) intends to issue Contract F33615-01-C-3144 for the purpose of developing a Photonic Actuator Control System (PACS) that includes the Electro-Mechanical Actuator (EMA) previously developed under the Electrically powered Actuation Design Validation Program (EPAD). It is intended that this will be a sole source award to Dynamic Controls Inc. (DCI) on the basis that they are the only responsible source for the procurement of the PCAS full scale development program (FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii). The advance notice for the Photonic Actuator Control System was posted in the Commerce Business Daily (CBD) CBDNet, 15 Feb 2000. SEE Note 22.
